Too North-American-centric

[edit]

Shouldn't the article (and the ones for the other "radio formats" at least mention that the concept is largely specific to North America, or even just the US? TorLillqvist (talk) 13:46, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lists, lists, and more lists

[edit]

Ok, someone added a whole lot more artists to this than really needed...we really just need a few example artists, not a whole AAA playlist...

Any chance you still have that list around? I am interested.

It's in the history. Look around the timestamp of the 29 May 2006 message.
That said, the same problem presents itself now with the gargantuan list of radio stations. Why on earth can't that and the artist list alike be dealt with in through categories? It's nigh-impossible to craft a complete list of these stations and artists, and maintenance is difficult as well. If a station changes format, the user that updates that station's article is not particularly likely to follow through and remove it from here. Need to go back to the concept of using prose and good examples instead of gigantic, unmaintainable, perpetually incomplete lists. MrZaiustalk 20:16, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A repeat

[edit]

In the 4th paragraph, it says that MediaBase 24/7 has a Triple-A chart.
Then at the very end of that paragraph, it says it again by saying that MediaBase also has a Triple A chart.
Should it be deleted? It seems as if the person, who published this paragraph, tried to repeat a fact over again just to make this page wordy.

Orphaned references in Adult album alternative

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Adult album alternative's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 02:27, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
