I have changed the tone of this entry somewhat. While I think biographical pages should be accurate and even-handed, I'm not sure such a negative page was appropriate. If people want to be highly negative about Carr, they should probably take that to the BC Green Party page rather than trashing her here. By the way, this page really needs some better stuff about her work with WCWC -- this was 20 years of her life, after all. [unsigned]

It's possible that the previous version left an unfairly negative impression, and some changes may have been in order. That said, the current page is little better than a promotional piece.

"She is every bit as comfortable at a trade union meeting as at a Chamber of Commerce luncheon" is not objective reporting. I'm not going to revert the changes outright, but this page requires signficant improvement from the current version. CJCurrie 18:50, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

While some accuse Carr of being a supporter of the so-called "eco-capitalist" ideology favoured by federal Green Party leader Jim Harris (her party uses the slogan "Fiscally Conservative - Socially Responsible"), this does not appear to be an accurate description. Her political choices have exhibited a pragmatism that appear to make her anything but an ideologue. She is every bit as comfortable at a trade union meeting as at a Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
