Birth date

[edit]

As Adrian doesn’t have a recorded birth date, all estimates are given in the 750s or 760s (latest 770). Is it ok if I put his birth as c.760 so that at least there’s an idea of when he was born. Also his nephew was born in 778 and sister in 754, making 760 quite likely (as it’s a date close enough to his sister of the same generation and far enough from his nephew, of the subsequent generation). Why a circa date when they do not have an actual date of birth he died on the 2 Jul 866 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Brissarthe. So remove the date of birth. Pipera (talk) 19:45, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Odo(Eudes) son of Adrian

[edit]

Pipera (talk) 19:40, 12 February 2024 (UTC) Eudes d'Orléans Comte d'Orléans et d'Anjou is from an unknown mother, and father is unknown. He is the brother of a Guillaume de Blois Comte de Blois et Comte de Châteaudun and a unknown sister, she is the mother of Robert 'le Fort' marquis de Neustrie comte de Tours. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_the_Strong should not put Father Robert III of Worms (most probably) Mother Waldrada of Worms (most probably) as most people would accept this as correct and will do these genealogies and trace these lines this should be removed. Geographically this is impossible. Robert III. Graf im Oberrheingau und im Wormsgau was born at Wormsgau, Fränkisches Reich and died Pays de la Loire, France. Robert le Fort was marquis de Neustrie that is 900 kms away. They are opposite ends of France so how could he be his son? Orleans is 345 kms from Neustrie close in proximity. See the problem! This is the reason why these trees are incorrect here. On 15 February 824, Waldrade and Eudes appear again with regard to the same donation ["... nos itaque in dei nomine Uualtrat et Voto tradidissemus res nostras ad ecclesiam sancti Bonifatii ..." Codex Fuld., 192 (#429)]. This would make it impossible for this person to be her son. https://fasg.org/projects/henryproject/data/gerol000.htm[reply]

Further Robert 'le Fort" is from Saxon Origins as stated in this text: Robertus, Andagavensis comes, Saxonici generis vir [6] Certain, E. de (ed.) (1858) Miracula Sancti Benedicti (Paris) II, p. 93. [- KINGS of FRANCE.] note this is a shorthand by Charles Cawley it does not assume a connection to ROBERT [III], son of --- (-before 19 Feb 834 they had a son Robert whom was last seen in the 10th April 837 in a charter recording.

So I will leave you to ponder the accuracy of this and the other article.
