Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance. It is notable in itself and in its high profile COVID outbreak after heavy criticism of its safety procedures. It has been covered by major outlets around the world. The events and the circumstances of its cancellation have been covered in The Guardian, ESPN, USA Today, EuroSport, Sky Sports, and many other outlets, not to mention the event was organized by the world #1, which itself adds to notability. [1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
At most, it should be merged into Djokovic's own article, certainly not deleted.Rail88 (talk)
- No it should not be merged either — clearly any wikipedia tennis editor knows that exhibitions involving professional players can perfectly have their own Wikipedia article, so long as they are notable. Adria Tour is exactly that without question. --Loginnigol (talk) 13:25, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
