Talk:Adobe XD

Page contents not supported in other languages.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I made two edits to this Wikipedia page and did not alter any previous information. First, I added a features section that lists and describes many of Adobe XD's features. The reasoning behind this is that I felt a page that displays a product needs to be informative in what the product itself does. I made each feature term bold and explained what it is or does underneath for best organization and readability. Each feature was written for easy understandability and clarity for app designers in addition to people who are not as literate in this field.

The second edit was a paragraph that introduces the features section. This isn't anything major like the first edit, but it helps discuss Adobe XD and its features before going in depth with them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ahicks77 (talkcontribs) 16:27, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

what does it do?

[edit]

It seems that you can create a mockup or simulation of a website or app - now what? Is it used then for presentation/discussion in the planning /evaluation of a proposed site or software? Does it output/translate to something else? How does one use the thing created in XD when creating a real publishable product?

Design Education section

[edit]

As I noted in my edit to the section, it may not be relevant to the program itself and could be removed. Looking through the edit history, this seems to be sourced from the same person who felt it was necessary to list off people who professed how to use the program. I would suggest that parts of the section be moved to the Behanced and MAX page as previously stated. AlenaEK (talk) 15:56, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Was this product discontinued?

[edit]

There does not seem to be an official product page for XD on Adobe's website any more, nor does it show up in their list of Creative Cloud apps. The website linked in this article now simply links to Adobe's documentation. Was XD discontinued? Either way, this article should probably be updated to reflect changes in Adobe's product lineup.
