Name

[edit]

This Wikipedia entry is named "Adobe Flash Builder 4". However, as of July 29, 2009, the IDE is still named Adobe Flex Builder 3 (see http://www.adobe.com). I find confusing to display a name which hasn't still been publicly adopted. An encyclopedia is about the present, not about the future. 194.224.31.97 (talk) 08:51, 29 July 2009 (UTC)Ignacio Agulló[reply]

Price - FREE - for students and the unemployed

On the Flash Builder 4.6 Standard/FAQ page (http://www.adobe.com/products/flash-builder-standard/faq.html) one can read an answer to the following question "Can education customers including students, faculty, and staff get Flash Builder for free?"
The answer is (I changed a few important words to italics)
"Flash Builder 4.6 Standard Edition is free for all eligible education customers. Students, faculty, and staff can get serial numbers to activate downloadable trial versions by registering on the registration site. During registration, you will be prompted to upload a copy of your student, faculty ID, or employee ID, or you can upload a letter on institutional letterhead proving your current affiliation with an educational institution. Once validated, you will be emailed a free educational serial number for Flash Builder 4.6 Standard. It may take up to two weeks after the request for you to receive the serial numbers."
However during registration on http://www.adobe.com/devnet-apps/flex/free/index.html, you are not prompted to upload anything (tested on opera and firefox with javascript on and off) and after providing Adobe your name and email address you simply get an "Adobe Flash Builder application denied" email. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.123.167.223 (talk) 20:03, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Copy-edit tag

[edit]

The copy-edit tag seems unnecessary here. Anybody disagree? I will remove it in a few days if not.--Anon423 (talk) 04:57, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I do. The article obviously have cohesion problem: We have isolated paragraph which have tried to mask their isolation by hiding under a heading of their own. I expect this issue cannot be resolved unless the article is expanded. However, I expect expansion alone cannot solve the problem either; the article should be methodically expanded. Nowadays, I try hard to be very economical about the tags I place and I think I have been economical about placing Copy-edit tag. Fleet Command (talk) 10:53, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
