POV
[edit]This article seems to have been written by members of the "Comité de soutien". Half of the article is a quotation from the United Nations Human Rights Committee stated that probably does not only apply to Dr Hicheur. I would suggest to split this section out of Hicheur's Article and move it to a page on Human Rights issues in France.83.76.249.236 (talk) 12:23, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
- I agree - the UN stuff is totally irrelevant to the article and should be removed. In fact, the whole detention without trial section should go - waiting for a trial to go to court is not detention without trial as the original author seems to think, it's waiting for the case to go to court! For which, 2 years for a terror trial is actually quite normal, taking this long for the accused of the 21 July 2005 London bombings and the 2007 bomb plot in Germany. I have removed this section. --Richardeast (talk) 19:52, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
I agree. The article is biased. It also users "...after police allegedly intercepted emails between himself and Al-Qaida..." These charges are no "alleged" they have been proven in open court, and Hicheur is a convicted terrorist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rustygecko (talk • contribs) 14:04, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
