Removed Confusing Content
[edit]Cooee, I removed this content because the source did not explicitly state that the companies were apart of the Regiment The Source: The South Australian Register, 2 May 1861 The Companies in Question: Adelaide Rifles Eastern Suburban Rifles Kent Rifles Alberton and Queenstown Rifles Kensington and Norwood Rifles Brighton Rifles First Gawler Rifles Second Gawler Rifles Salisbury Rifles and Smithfield Rifles If someone can find a better source I'm happy to put it in. A: The companies were in fact part of the initial Regiment, which was called the Adelaide Regiment of Volunteer Rifles, according to The Advertiser, 30 April 1860, p. 2, [1] . By 1861 the Regiment was reformed and some companies were removed as per the source mentioned by IronBattalion - 112.141.113.148 (talk) 11:07, 10 June 2021 (UTC)BdeGroot77
