What happened

@DanThatMan1899: It seems he never managed to fully establish himself as a professional footballer and has likely retired. I wasn't able to find out any recent coverage. I reverted your addition of "He is currently a free agent." because we don't know whether he is in fact a free agent or whether he has simply retired.
