[edit]I don't see any sources that say he has pancreatic cancer - I think its made up.
I've seen in a couple of "show-business" articles the phrase "originating the role"; what does it mean? It seems to be an inaccurate way of saying that someone was the first person to play the part; inaccurate because the author created – originated – the role. I'm changing the article to reflect this; if I'm wrong about what it means, could it be explained here? --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 18:16, 10 October 2005 (UTC)
True, while the author creates the character, the author isn't the only person involved in the creative process. The author creates a shell that the actor fills in and molds to what he/she brings to the character. By saying that he "orginiated the role," it is simply meant that he was the first to breathe life into this idea that the author had imagined. He was the original Roger. -- Meghan
That's exactly what the term means: the actor who originates a role (i.e., is the first to play it) rehearses and is directed with the playwright's participation, and an actor's reading of a part will influence changes in the direction and the text of the play. This is not the case with subsequent actors, so "originating a role" is recognized as something substantively different from subsequently playing the part. It's standard theatre nomenclature, and is certainly not inaccurate. - Nunh-huh 07:18, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
Does anyone know the actual name of his character on Cold Case? The one I put up was from the official episode summary, but I see it's been changed. I was wondering if anyone had the straight facts on that, maybe? --User:Vongchild
- The name on the page now was the one actually shown in the episode (written on the box). :) 209.40.189.180 21:30, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Someone had inserted the words "Adam Pascal is a sexy beast" near the bottom of the page. I deleted it, but people should watch out for ridiculous edits like that on the page.
Some minor changes
[edit]I made some minor changes to the page, grammar edits, page errors (that ridiculous box right in the middle of the bopgraphy), etc. 75.74.187.60 21:30, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

The lead image in this article is currently subject to deletion within a week because 1) it is using an image under a fair use claim that could be replaced by a free image—the image does not provide any information about the subject that any picture anyone could take now could provide; and 2) it is used under a claim of fair use, yet a detailed fair use rationale has not been provided specifically explaining why it qualifies for fair use within this article.
