Cleanup

[edit]

Unfortunately this article seems to have been written as a gush of praise rather than a statement of the facts. This article needs to be neutralised, wikified, restructured, and spellchecked, if not entirely rewritten. I'm not sure where a lot of the information came from, but I'm pretty sure sentences like "Playing to win is every athletes desire and passion" don't belong here. --84.64.51.100 20:13, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edmonton native?

[edit]

I thought Graves was from Edmonton? Maybe not. I seem to remember hearing an interview with him talking about being a paperboy in Edmonton as a child. Also, didn't be break someone's wrist during the 92-93 playoffs? I thought he did. I'll check on that.

He broke Mario's wrist in the playoffs that season, and the Rangers were eliminated (it definitely was not intentional, as one editor suggested; see: NY Times 5/9/92). Mario wore those really short gloves that offered no protection at that point. Graves is not from Edmonton, though. Robixsmash 04:01, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FAir use rationale for Image:Leetch gm7 goal.png

[edit]

Image:Leetch gm7 goal.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Heaping Helping

[edit]

Adam Graves has won a heaping helping of some Stanley Cup. Doesn't anybody agree with me? If you do, please write it here. Maybe if we get enough votes we can get it on the site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.251.108.2 (talk) 21:03, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I completely agree. Adam Graves has won a humongous heaping helping of Stanley Cup, and he needs to be recognized for it. So please everybody, help us get it on! Gds101 (talk) 21:06, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't agree more. There are three of us now, but that isn't enough. We need more representatives. So please, all you heaping helping supporters out there, speak your mind on this talk page! 66.44.126.167 (talk) 03:13, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, I didn't actually believe there were others who shared this opinion with me! We must be represented. 66.251.108.2 (talk) 15:42, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
