Rosetta Stone
[edit]I find the following sentence incomprehensible:
He also proposed that the third language was Coptic (it was actually Demotic, which is written almost the same as, and has the same meaning as Coptic)
Is Demotic really written "almost the same" as Coptic? And what does "to have the same meaning" signify? That the two words, Coptic and Demotic mean the same, or that the two languages are virtually indistinguishable? I do not have the expertise to edit the text, but whatever it is asserting does not correspond with what I can read about Demotic and Coptic in Wikipedia, or what I know about the Rosetta Stone.
