His wife

[edit]

She did not "leave" the marriege, she fled the country and changed her surname and we shall quote the articles linked as sources 2804:7F0:B180:2281:8168:5C3:3CC3:7EAF (talk) 00:37, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your edit. I don't consider the material to be due, and the wording is clearly not neutral. I also have grave concerns about including the material under the BLP policy. 78.149.135.163 (talk) 17:56, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree with 78.149.135.163 , Wikipedia should be about facts WITH imparciality, and her fleeding the country and changing her name is both acurate and imparcial since no one is blaming her for the crimes 2804:7F0:B180:2281:5DA1:FF6C:694D:584 (talk) 20:40, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
None of that engages at all with the reasons for the revert. In addition, your restoration of the material is against WP:BLPREVERT; please, try to talk it out on the talk page and get consensus before reinserting disputed text relating to living persons. I continue to believe that whatever she may or may not be up to is of little to no relevance to this article, which is not about her but about Mr Britton. I continue to believe the use of the word "fled" in particular, especially the way it frames the material as a whole, is biased language. Above all else, I continue to believe that this is precisely the sort of material WP:BLP is designed to keep out of articles. 78.149.135.163 (talk) 21:28, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The source that uses the word "fled" carefully attributes its claims to the Daily Mail, and WP:DAILYMAIL is just about all you need to know about that. 100.36.106.199 (talk) 23:34, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
