Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because I have deleted some paragraphs that might be promotion. --Leenrosseel (talk) 09:25, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that the article has credible references. The statements that are made in the article come from scientific and/or credible references, such as the Journal of Clinical Investigation and the University of Leuven. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leenrosseel (talkcontribs) 10:01, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

About the Duplicator Detector I wanted to notice that this Wikipedia-page cites from references, e.g. a press release from the University of Leuven. The other website, http://www.aescap.com/index.php?p=news&id=130, cites from the same press release. Hence the duplicating of some phrases. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leenrosseel (talkcontribs) 09:40, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not good enough. A press release is subject to copyright. If you copy from it, you need to put the quoted material in quotes, and ensure that the length of the quotes is not excessive.
As an important aside, please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Trademarks which eschews the use of the trademark symbol.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 17:05, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
