I have a number of concerns about this article?
1. Is this notable? We can hardly have an article on every skirmish in history, even one fought by such a famous figure as Wallace.
2. Given the amount of material written on Wallace and the Wars of Scottish Independence generally, it seems surprising that the only reference is one tertiary work.
3. Even if this is notable, it could be stretching it to call it a battle, e.g. Action at Earnside might be better. PatGallacher (talk) 16:26, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- It should be deleted. Colonel Warden (talk · contribs), though full of good intentions, is an anti-deletionist ideologue with no interest in the topic, and he deprodded it as part of a series of drive-by deproddings. We can either list it for AfD, or just redirect it to another topic. Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 16:37, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- You are mistaken. I spread myself quite thin as I have many interests but Wallace and his battles with the English are among them. Today, for example, I visited Westminster Hall and took a particular interest in the plaque marking the spot where Wallace stood during his trial there. More anon.
