Is logging in mandatory for some?
[edit]Untitled
[edit]I understand that one doesn't have to log in for editing. If so how come Kannambadi removed brief information on Achyutadevaraya , Viswanatha Naidu and Sevappa Naidu and name of the reference book ? If he did remove on the grounds of myself not logging in I request him to enlighten me on this matter since logging is not mandatory as per the talk page guidelines I believe . Please let me know if I am missing something.
Logging in is not mandatory, but adds credibility to your edits. Just because one does not have to log in does not mean one can abuse the facility. This is why wikipedia administrators use locks, to lock up articles constantly being edited by anonymous editors. Anon edits are akin to vandalism, even if done in good faith and accompanied by reference books and citations. Logging in is a courtesey on wikipedia, that all wikipidinas should practice, so their content can be considered valid. If you have any doubts, please contact an admin and he will advice you.
