Redirects
[edit]This fascist "MoeRON" eradicated all the song pages from this album, not just Black Throated Wind but the others too. He doesn't merge their contents back into this album page either, no, he changes them to Redirects which sends their contents to the cosmic bit bucket! Where does he get off doing that?? Isnt there an sysop who can stop this guy?? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 205.188.116.204 (talk • contribs).
Merge proposal
[edit]I support the merge of the song information to this page, at least for now, because:
- There is very little information residing on this page at present anyway.
- These songs have done little to distinguish themselves and are not obviously notable subjects of standalone articles
- There's no loss of information or anything of that sort, and, with redirects in place, it is still easy to find information on a particular song.
Therefore, I believe editors wishing to expand the coverage of the individual songs would do better to include it on this, the page for the album, and make one decent article, rather than set up a lot of short articles about songs which are, at best, of borderline notability. Fascist "MoeRON" deleted five (5) song pages content by his "Redirect" ploy. I have revived them. One More Sat Night and Playin' in the Band SHOULD be separate song pages as they are important and NOTABLE as their pages are explaining and will explain more if other contributers get a chance to see them and add to them!! The others maybe could be included in Ace page or maybe could be separate, I am reasonable about that. Just don't send their content to the bit bucket!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 205.188.116.204 (talk • contribs).
- As far as I can tell, Playin' in the Band was never redirected. Also, please refrain from personal attacks. They are not productive. Also, please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~). GassyGuy 16:06, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Sorry for the language, but it busts my bridges and burns my soul when controlling sysop wannabees like "MoeRON" go around removing other people's work. The wiki is so full of junk its unbelievable, compared to all that One More Sat Night is a good page that can get better and there's no reason for him to take off after it. Youre right about Playing, I was wrong there but I'm right about everything else. ~~~~
WTF!!?? "ChrisLK something" removed my comment right above, right after I made it!? What the [no bad words!] going on around here!? What did I say that was so offensive? I'll say it in the Queens English now ... Please, fellow editors, do not remove pages and redirect them somewhere else without first inserting the content in the redirected-to page. And please, pretty please, do not redirect good, notable, influential song pages in the first place. Is that better???—Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.188.116.204 (talk • contribs)
- If your complaint is that the redirect was being performed without an appropriate merge, I would suggest you go ahead and merge the songs to this page as you see fit. I have read some of the articles, and while some do justify their existence as standalone articles (e.g., "Playing in the Band"), others (e.g., "Greatest Story Ever Told") make little to no claim of notability and meriting their own articles. GassyGuy 08:03, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I did that. Not so hard, only one sentence of Greatest Story Needed to be carried over. Don't know why "MoeRON" couldn't have done in first place. What you are saying is like, "If your complaint is that the page was vandalized, why don't you fix it." Isn't personal responsibility on the vandalizer?
Cassidy merge
[edit]On 12 April 2009 it was proposed that the article Cassidy (song) be merged into the article Ace (album). The result of the discussion was to merge the article. This was done on 2 May 2009. See Talk:Cassidy (song)#Merger proposal. — Mudwater (Talk) 11:14, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
