Omitting names of persons who survived the fall
[edit]@Qwaiiplayer: In the 18 March 2022 revision, what is the thinking behind omitting the names of the persons who survived the 4000 meter fall? Fabrickator (talk) 21:11, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
- I have no objection for adding it provided it's properly sourced. I just replaced the unsourced entry for the crash with the lead of the redirected article (with slight formatting changes) since the lead was already sourced. Qwaiiplayer (talk) 21:32, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
Don Bullock crash
[edit]Hi, a large omission in this section is the B-17 air crash at Biggin Hill, in which all on board were killed I believe. 2A00:23C6:C205:3201:90A7:DDE8:AE69:E72D (talk) 22:39, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- I did a quick Google search and found nothing about a B-17 crash at Biggin Hill. One of the the first search results, though, was a Wikipedia article on a 1980 A-26 Invader crash at Biggin Hill. Are you sure you're not mistaking the aircraft type. If there was also a B-17 crash, feel free to provide some sources and I'll be happy to add it to the list. - ZLEA T\C 03:48, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
B-17 Crash(es?) in Colorado, May 13 and October 18 1943 and June 13, 1944
[edit]B-17 crashes that are omitted occurred in the mountains west of Fort Collins on May 13 (killing 2) and October 18, 1943 killing 8, and the June 13, 1944 Crown Point cash killing 4 of 10 aboard. There is confusion about the later two crashes because they are only about 6 miles apart. All 3 are high in the Rocky Mountains. All involved training flights. Here is a story from the Fort Collins Coloradoan.
thought I had added something but doesn't show up..unsure how to do this
