Popov's glands

[edit]

In the books Endoscopic Surgery of the Lacrimal Drainage System (publisher=Springer |isbn=978-3-319-20632-5), in chapter Anatomy of the lacrimal drainage system a third type of accessory lacrimal gland is mentioned as Popov's glands. But I failed to find the same in other well-known anatomy/ophtalmology books (with me) or research articles. Is it good to mention the gland with above mentioned book reference or wait for another reliable source? Ajeeshkumar4u (talk) 08:46, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wolfring's glands or Ciaccio's glands

[edit]

I suggest that in the beginning, both possibilites are mentioned as is now, but only one name is used throughout the article. It is confusing, that a few times it is designated as Wolfring's but also sometimes as Ciaccio's. This is not my field of expertise, so I am not in a position to suggest which should be named primarily. PENDRAGON (talk) 09:22, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Reference 5 - Recent evidence

[edit]

Reference 5 "https://www.aao.org/bcscsnippetdetail.aspx?id=767021d9-21a5-4b76-af43-49468a5bbd0c" is not providing any proof of said "recent evidence". So it is more a citation. It would elevate the scientific quality if mentioned evidence was referenced directly to research publications or at least sources that reference to studies themselves.
