Directors of the original organization
[edit]There is an article about the original Academy on the modern Academy website, which mentions Johann Christoph Pepusch, Benjamin Cooke and Samuel Arnold (composer) as directors at various times. I interpret this as referring to directorship of the Academy of Ancient Music and not to that of its rival the Concert of Antient Music. --RichardVeryard 23:43, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Location?
[edit]If this is based in Cambridge, why does it have an infobox saying it is based in London? Bards (talk) 22:44, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
Illustrating picture
[edit]Is the engraving in the tondo, by Charles Grignion after Thomas Hudson, really a picture of Greene ? Is it not Johann Christoph Pepusch ? 185.39.140.162 (talk) 16:44, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
