Incorrect image in "ACES Color Spaces" section
[edit]The image currently subtitled "The AP0 spectral locus as seen in CIE xy coordinates" just shows an unmodified CIE xy diagram, so the AP0 primaries cannot be seen, and the green value even lies outside the visible coordinate section. So:
a) currently, the description is just wrong, as the diagram has essentially nothing to do with the dimensions and/or shape of AP0.
b) It would be cool to replace the image with a new image, where the actual primary triangles for both AP0 and AP1 are overlayed over the CIE diagram. --212.6.181.66 (talk) 12:56, 26 July 2017 (UTC)

Added the "reads like an advertisement" tag
[edit]I added the {{advert}} tag because several sentences seemed excessively superlative and inappropriate in tone. For example (emphasis mine):
- ...a color image encoding system created by hundreds of industry professionals under the auspices of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
- Hundreds of productions, from Motion Pictures to Television to Commercials, and VR content has been produced using ACES...
- The ACES project began its development in 2004 in collaboration with 50 industry technologists...
Additionally, the article directs the reader to specific primary sources rather than citing them, in a manner inappropriate for an encyclopedia:
- For a more complete list, visit the IMDb link here: http://acescentral.com/t/list-of-aces-productions/23
My Wikipedia editing is quite rusty, so forgive me if I've made any amateur mistakes or breached etiquette.
