Notability
[edit]The article had claimed that Abt is both the largest independent retailer of consumer electronics and that it's top 500 in Internet sales. However, the source referenced (the only possibly-independent source in the lot) did not back up either of those claims.
I'm now becoming concerned about whether this company is truly notable. The easy way to prove that is to show substantial coverage in the media; however, there's only one company blurb at hoovers.com referenced right now, plus the store's website. I don't think it can go the route of speedy deletion, but I'm very close to proposing it for deletion, unless some sources come in.
Anybody got anything? —C.Fred (talk) 15:55, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
I work there. I have heard them as being the "largest independent retailer of consumer goods" and I'm not sure if thats true. However, I do know they are 100% family owned and can clear $1 million in a day easily. I did find a source for the top 500 internet sales... http://verticalwebmedia.com/top500/list.asp
