The result of the move request was: no consensus. I don't see a consensus to move to the primary topic at this moment among the participants. We can revisit this some time later to see if the bump in notability is temporary or not. (closed by non-admin page mover) – robertsky (talk) 05:27, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
– The Pakistani cricketer looks to be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. He is an international cricketer, which has higher notability, and therefore pageviews, than the local Indian cricketer or either of the politicians with this name. Views: [1] - I know there's a potential recentism, as he's just started playing international cricket, but the fact that he's now internationally known, when the other people aren't, means that he'll be the person that I believe most Wikipedia readers will be looking for, even in 10 years time if he doesn't make many more international appearances. Oppose As you mentioned, this seems recentism. It'd be more prudent to wait for a year or two if he becomes more well-known over the time compared to other personalities mentioned. Till then, this arrangement seems fine. Coderzombie (talk) 10:17, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
