Removing tags

[edit]

The tags flagging the overlong plot, the fact it reads as an ad (or did before I removed a lot of material and rewirded some others) and the lack of soruces for statements are legitimate, good fith concerns and cannot just be removed without doing anything. This is close to violating WP:3RR and I have dropped a note on the relevant editors talk page and I hope to address the problem here without this becoming a bigger issue (which it will if it continues down the way it is). Yes hopefully it will lead to an improvement of the article rather than an edit war. There is a concern though, that this editor may have an WP:COI issue as it appears he is the director of this film, and the author of the solicited book. If so, he is probably best served by stepping back. Murghdisc. 16:46, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If that is the case then that is a cause for concern. (Emperor 17:01, 22 May 2007 (UTC))[reply]
Ah yes the user contributions show the editor claiming to eb the director [1] although I'm not sure how to prove it (without using an offiical email to check I suppose) if we take their word for it then it is WP:COI and if they aren't telling the truth then it is also cause for concern. I see he created his own Wikipedia entry too Graham Robertson. I don't feel such things are necessarily a big thing (I've spoken to a number of editors who have worked on their own entry) - they are the expert on themselves but it does bring in WP:NPOV issues and they need to stay out of such entries as this if concerns have been raised. (Emperor 17:07, 22 May 2007 (UTC))[reply]
Yes I agree, it's all a matter of how it plays out, so if this editor agrees to go down the straight and narrow NPOV path (rather than removing concern tags) it doesn't have to be problematic. Murghdisc. 17:21, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:DesktopCinema Graham Robertson.jpg

[edit]

Image:DesktopCinema Graham Robertson.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
