The article said that Antonio Fernandez was married to Barbara Joyce in Virginia. This seems unlikely as interracial marriages were still illegal in 1961. It is more likely that they were married elsewhere while they were living in Virginia. This was done by many couples as was the situation in the Loving Supreme Court case.RichardBond (talk) 21:06, 2 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
