Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this person has made several contributions to the academic society in different areas. I didn't have time to include some of his work, but I'm planning to do it at some point. Notice that Abhijit Deshmukh is the department head of the school of industrial engineering at Purdue, and has been professor in UMASS and Texas A&M.
