Franchises

[edit]

I have no idea who put in that the movies aren't related to the novels, but that's nonsense. The author of the novels wrote the screenplay adaptation himself! Sheesh!

This is how the recent pop culture Seimei thing works:

-Baku Yumemakura writes the novel series starting in the late 80s.
-The novel series is adapted into a manga, a movie and its sequel, and a tv series. (These three things are unrelated to each other.)
-The novels spark a "Seimei Boom", which inspires a ton of other pop culture about Seimei, most of it not directly related to the novels.

Minamoto no Hiromasa and Abe no Seimei are both historical figures who are featured in the same collections of tales. However, they are not featured in the very same tales, and there is no reason to think they knew each other. Anything that pairs the two of them up and makes them friends is directly inspired by the Yumemakura novels. Franzeska (talk) 16:36, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bumping this article up from Start-class now that I've expanded it a little and added some references. Needs more expansion to reach the B level, but I think I've exhausted the online sources that are available. Shimeru (talk) 20:10, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like you have a Wiki-conflict of interest. Boneyard90 (talk) 14:02, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Miscellaneous

[edit]

I apologize, I have no idea what I'm doing. This is really my first time editing of any sort here at Wikipedia, but wasn't he also known as Haruakira? Shouldn't that be included here somewhere? Seems like pertinent information to me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.49.48.166 (talk) 13:27, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
