Although the location/identity of "murdu" is uncertain, in ~1845 the Sultan of Sulu appears to have anointed his uncle Muda Hassim as his heir. Then had him murdered within a year or so, all at the time James Brooke and other White Rajahs were taking charge of the ports and suppressing piracy.E.M.Gregory (talk) 14:38, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
