Abduction, killing or murder?

[edit]

The title of this article describes this crime as an abduction, yet the article says the abducted people are now deceased, apparently by foul play, which makes the crime a homicide. However, to allege the crime is murder requires proof that all the elements of that crime are met. Usually, this will only happen once conviction of the perpetrators has been secured in a judicial process. That is still to happen. I think the term "killing" should be used instead of "murder" until such time as a conviction is secured for a specific crime. See guidelines WP:KILLINGS and WP:KILLINGOF. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 04:50, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
