- Interesting: - In my opinion, the hook isn't very interesting to a broad audience, and it's hard to understand since his name comes after the "although..." I suggest making an ALT hook related to the corruption scandal; that's much more interesting (in my opinion).

Overall: See above; otherwise, the article is good! MyCatIsAChonk (talk) 14:02, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- @MyCatIsAChonk: I’m not sure about including hooks of that sort due to BLP concerns (also, "mayor arrested for corruption" is twice weekly news in Indonesia). Maybe it’d be better to reword the original hook to make it more digestible? Let me think of something. Juxlos (talk) 03:02, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- or maybe ALT1: ... that Abdillah was sworn in as mayor of Medan, Indonesia in an "abrupt and secretive" ceremony? Juxlos (talk) 03:06, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Juxlos: I do see your point, and I think ALT1 is good. Approving ALT1. MyCatIsAChonk (talk) 12:56, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
