RfC: Multiple issues

[edit]

Multiple issues on article, blatant advertising that would require a fundamental rewrite to become encyclopedic, misplaced and questionable sources citations with a poor reputation for fact-checking, using weasel words, created circular sourcing WP:CIRCULAR, etc. This is an encyclopedia, not a forum for exposure of personal political Point Of View.

Can you please give an example of a misplaced citation or advertisement? I have looked, and cannot find any. I have reverted your addition of every possible warning template you could find, as it seems every claim in the article is referenced to a legitimate source.   • 1. ... alleged to be ... WP:AWW;
  • 2. http://www.jamestown.org/terrorism/news/article.php?articleid=2369744 WP:DEADREF;
  • 3. REFERNCE TO ANOTHER WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE (!?) : Canadian Security Intelligence Service, Summary of the Security Intelligence Report concerning Hassan Almrei, February 22, 2008 - WP:CIRCULAR and WP:SAYWHEREYOUGOTIT
  • 4. REFERNCE TO ANOTHER WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE (!?) : Smith, Jeffrey. Washington Post, "A Bosnian Village's Terrorist Ties", March 11 2000 - WP:CIRCULAR and WP:SAYWHEREYOUGOTIT
  • 5. Assyrian International News Agency, "Jihadists find convenient base in Bosnia" - I demand a proof that who ever wrote this article is not biased propagandist, hater, warmonger; and who decided that Assyrian International News Agency isn't obscure, unreliable and questionable source with a poor reputation for fact-checking or any-checking for that matter, YOU ?! WP:SOURCES - Same citation placed on red link (missing page) that mentioned "good behaviour" ?!

So, there is one citation on Washington Post but irrelevant for the actual place in the sentence and context. As editor with no less then 28,000 edits under your belt you dare to call this an article (!?) and make sarcastic obzervations, that you remove SEVEN warning templates on a two-sentence and two footnote article (you call it article), and that I , actualy, put more templates then you wrote sentences - well you are so right. Finally, just to mention your motives that you so vividly described on your User page, such as "speaking for the dead" - you are on the wrong place, this is an encyclopedia not a personal juornal, obituary nor magazin or blog, and I also really don't care about your political point of view. Also this project is meant to be planetary , so its so arrogant to claim, something like this: "...the Washington Post and Seattle Times (or Supersonics) are not "fringe, unreliable pseudo news sources", the facts are all heavily referenced", - if USA is planet Earth then we, inhabitants of banana countries from Mars, have nothing to say or argue about ! That's all for now, I am watching hocky game, its much more fun - later we can ask admin for neutral assessment --Santasa99 (talk) 03:15, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I must add a feew words on this http://www.jamestown.org/ Jamestown Fundation and their web site title that gose like this: INFORMATION WITHOUT POLITICAL AGENDA FROM EUROASIA CHINA AND THE WORLD OF TERRORISM !!! - This is your RELIABLE sources (unbelievable), on which you make articles for "global" encyclopedia ??? Are you ignorant, not knowing that you, actually, refering your claim to some biased think tank fundation or you just play dumb and trying to sell us your political and social point of views, based on those "motivations" of yours, mentioned before.--Santasa99 (talk) 16:22, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unless the subject has given a non-controversial confession or been found guilty in an accepted trial, then we/I always use "alleged to be a [criminalOccupation]" so as to avoid defamation.
I have no idea what you mean by "REFERNCE TO ANOTHER WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE (!?)", the references are to legitimate sources...are you concerned that the author's name is wikilinked to their own biography? That's fairly standard practice.
References often point to dead urls, that's why we include the name and author of the work to lend legitimacy. In this case, if you simply used Google, you would see [tt_news=526 a mirror] of the original document cited.
The Assyrian International News Agency is notable enough to have its own WP article, and I can't find anything to suggest it is a "biased propagandist, hater, warmonger" publication. It appears to be a reputable news agency.
Please greet the other "inhabitants of banana countries from Mars" for me, I can tell you return to the mothership more often than myself. Sherurcij (speaker for the dead) 04:04, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
