Unintelligibility

[edit]

This article is really hard to understand, and is written like a religious tract. Is it possible for someone to rewrite in a clearer and more modern style? Many thanks!

The religious tone is so obvious that it is not even necessary to point it out. Of course, this is not an encyclopedia article, but it's still better than nothing.Giordaano (talk) 16:43, 7 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I will try and fix it. Unflavoured (talk) 07:19, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have tried to cleanup the article. But having read similar articles before, I heavily suspect that the majority of the "Plot" and "Assassination" section are copy/pasted from somewhere on the web, even after cleanup. Unflavoured (talk) 07:48, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

what about the Iranian Bahman Jazouyeh? who wanted to kill Ali as a revenge for his people(Iranians)? it is said that He was an Iranian names Bahman, who was called as ibn muljam by arabs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.224.36.110 (talk) 21:50, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ibn MuljimIbn MuljamIbn Muljam is correct and more common in WP:RS. Ibn Muljam is used in the works of Wilferd Madelung, G. R. Hawting etc. Google Scholars shows 489 results for Ibn Muljam and 64 results for Ibn Muljim. Ngrams show far more results for Ibn Muljam than Ibn Muljim, same with Brill publishers for Ibn Muljam than Ibn Muljim and with JSTOR for Ibn Muljam than Ibn Muljim This is just a few examples, I can go on with thousands Azezlvi (talk) 18:31, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
