Question
[edit]Anyone know how to pronounce this at all? --84.12.245.73 08:44, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
There is a creature known as the Bladed Aatxe in the MMORPG Guild Wars, and the topic on the forum there (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1297803&postcount=14) shows a "Text to Basque" translator, that will help!
Just wondering if the evil part is necessary. Nothing in the article seems to support that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AngstyAngst (talk • contribs) 16:45, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
- they are evil because they hit for hundreds in Guild Wars--88.24.12.200 (talk) 19:10, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
- I was thinking that the "evil" part was contradictory to the rest of the article as well. It's evil yet it attacks criminals and protects people...how does that make sense? 174.22.219.93 (talk) 17:43, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
The article says that <<His name is literally translated as "Young Bull">>. The French version of the page says that it can be translated to "veau" (calf) and that "jeune taureau" (young bull) is a translation mistake. One of the articles should be corrected. Mythology
[edit]It should be noted; Aatxe were also described to be guardian spirits, or forest spirits, Closely AkIn to Sprites; or even Spirggans, they may even be a type of Nature-attuned Djinn; which would make them closely related to Fairys. From the description of their appearance, and behavior, it could be said that; because Aatxe live near the forests edge, and would only attack travelers, or frighten children, this may have been in order to protect them, by preventing them from entering the forest, where darker spirits may be lurking saving them from being attacked by monsters, and other evil creatures, which may do them harm. Aatxe while fearsome in the popular CCORPG Guild Wars (being associated with the underworld, were the servants of Grenth, the 2nd God of Death and Ice whom took control of the Underworld away from Dhuum, with the help of Balthazar the God of War and Fire, and the other Gods which at that time included Abaddon the God of Secrets and Water. Aatxe are also known to inhabit the Tomb of Primeval Kings, the passageway which mortals must travel through in order to reach the Hall of Heroes where Only 1 Mortal king was said to have traveled there and returned at the cost of his Sanity, leaving a warning behind before dying on the steps of the Tomb, having felt compeled to return to the hall where The~ Gods had Tested him. Thus it could be said the Aatxe and other shadow creatures are servantz of the Gods, attacking anyone whom should dare to Mark their trail upon sacred ground, in order to keep both realms "SACrosent". 184.60.234.233 (talk) 21:45, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
