[edit]I do believe that the Aaron Smith listed with the Temptations, and The artist later of Romeo Void, The 77's & The Raggamuffin band, are 2 different people. I've met "Bongo Bob" Smith (as Mike Roe affectionately refers to him periodically) a few times, and doubt that at his age he would have been playing drums in 1971 on major market releases. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yobot (talk • contribs) 12:59, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, Aaron Smith and "Bongo Bob" Smith are two totally different people. Mike Beidler 18:30, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Here's a link with a photo of the 77's with Aaron Smith included. Comparing him there with other photos in the image search I did, it looks like the same gentleman to me. http://pandoras-music-box.blogspot.com/2009/09/77s.html. The photo of the group at Discogs reinforces my conclusion.THX1136 (talk) 23:52, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, it's the same person. He did an interview with Geoff Cooper of Classic Christian Rock Radio where he discusses this. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:20, 25 May 2020 (UTC)

String of artists names??
[edit]Currently in the article, at the bottom, is a string of artist names with no context nor elaboration as to why it is there. I assume it was placed as proof of Smith's connection to said artists. I am removing it until someone can provide meaningful context to justify it's existence.THX1136 (talk) 00:00, 25 May 2020 (UTC)
- I saw it arrive, but didn't know why it was there. I won't be restoring it without more of an explanation for it. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:21, 25 May 2020 (UTC)
