July 13 2007 current career
[edit]- On Friday 13th July 2007, he was banned from speaking at the funeral for his personal friend, talented actor and musician Daniel Packard. The funeral took place in a chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon church) in Crawley, West Sussex. He was, however, permitted to address the family and friends of Daniel at a special after-party, donning the same outfit as he did for Prince William's 21st birthday party - surprisingly acceptable given the church's hardline stance on cross-dressing. His act was cut short after an inappropriate word was used in front of children as young as 3, and he admitted that the audience had "proven he was not funny" after not raising a laugh. Before leaving the stage, he read a pre-prepared and moving tribute to Daniel, who died tragically after a 2 year battle with a brain tumour.
