Gessle's Role

[edit]

Per Gessle is shortchanged when described as 'Roxette guitarist'. Certainly he might be flattered but he might more likely be miffed. Pelle founded Roxette with Marie; he's the main man. Writes most of the material; he's the motor driving them. Consequently he's cofounder, songwriter, leader, and so forth. I chose therefore to describe him as 'cofounder'. Certainly Pelle plays guitar in the group - but so does Marie and you don't call her 'guitarist'. The two regular guitarists for Roxette in chronological order were Jonas Isaksson (created the famous riff for The Look) and Micke Andersson who'd worked with Micke Rickfors of The Hollies fame and also 'Nysse' Nyström on his solo album. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.221.39.175 (talk) 21:14, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pelle also worked on the tracks themselves. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.5.134.56 (talk) 00:42, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Covers

[edit]

Check your own data. In Too Deep was recorded here in 1989? And it's a cover of a song recorded in 1995? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenny_Morris_%28musician%29. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.5.134.56 (talk) 00:42, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
