Order of chapters

[edit]

In my paperback edition, the story "Christina Rosenthal" is the last one. For this reason, I will shortly move its plot to the respective position — unless someone can tell me that in other editions, the chapters are arranged in different orders. Jochen64 (talk) 05:42, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A summary to be improved

[edit]

The description of the story "A Chapter of Accidents", as it is now, is referenced by a certain supersummary.com. On that website, however, most of the stories of "A Twist in the Tale" are not summarized accurately. As an example, the summary of "The Steal" reads "… is about two teachers, a married couple, who travel abroad every year. However, it’s never an ordinary holiday, and they always steal something to keep as a memento" – which is simply wrong. For the real content, read the summary on this page, or Mr Archer's story itself. Having read "A Twist in the Tale" several times myself, I advise against relying on supersummary.com – or at least on their summary of this book.

Moreover, the present summary on this page does not seem to represent the real content of the printed story. I therefore suggest and intend to rephrase the summary of "A Chapter of Accidents", summarizing the book itself and not relying on faulty secondary literature. Unless, of course, the original contributor Norman R MacDonald wishes to correct himself. I'll be back… —Jochen64 (talk) 23:53, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
