Needs Clarification

The section on the Pulitzer prize mentions "noticing the trees." I couldn't figure out what that meant until I found a NY Times article[1] on how multiple publishers had rejected the book, one because it had "too many trees."

This information should be part of the Publishing History and the tree remark referenced to clarify the Pulitzer section remark.
