Series vs Season
[edit]This has inconsistent use of series and season, both on this article and the articles for the individual seasons/series of it.
Which one should it be, series or seasons? I was leaning towards season due to that being used in the box art (e.g. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/45/A_Place_to_Call_Home_DVD.jpg ).
Does anyone have any objections to it being changed to season instead of using series and season interchangeable? (series would still be left when referring to the series as a whole)Black.jeff (talk) 10:37, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
George Bligh's car?
[edit]What kind of car does George Bligh drive? It looks like an old Buick without the portholes. Could it be an Australian Buick? --- Dagme (talk) 01:09, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
Looks like an early 50's (1953?) Buick Roadmaster. Some Roadmaster and Skylark models didn't have the "portholes," actually called "cruiserline ventiports."98.162.136.248 (talk) 18:50, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
Cleanups needed
[edit]I have tried to cleanup the character descriptions and added in some important missing characters, but more work is still needed. A number of supporting characters are missing entirely, and the tables are somewhat inconsistent with the supporting text regarding whether a character is "Regular" or "Recurring". I would suggest relegating Amy Polson to "Recurring", and promoting Doris Collins to "Regular".
As a minor note, is Inverness considered to be a town or a village? The article is inconsistent about this, and it should be resolved one way or the other. Reify-tech (talk) 18:40, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
