[edit]"received tremendous press"? maybe "received positive reviews" with some links to back it up? Bill shannon 05:37, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
Tremendous press does not necessarily mean favorable press. It could mean, and most likely does in this instance, a lot of press. I believe the wording is fine.--ShepMWI 04:02, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:PieceOfStrange.jpg
[edit]Image:PieceOfStrange.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Samples Used (compiling a citable list)
[edit]This type of info is not verifiable or citable unless listed in the liner notes or by myself. Blogs and forums are not factual sources for citation. If this request isn't adhered to I'll have Wikipedia lock the entire entry.
Thanks Kno of CunninLynguists www.qn5.com
I suppose that you have a point, although policies of verifiability regarding sampling by/of recording artists are lax throughout Wikipedia. If this truly is Kno, why don't you provide an official list of samples? I'm sure that it would be much appreciated by many.--Hoops gza (talk) 10:20, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
The same reason you don't list your favorite weed dealers on Wikipedia. If you need any more explanation, e-mail me at Kno at QN5 dot com. Thanks! Kno —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kno CunninLynguists (talk • contribs) 11:02, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
Added official citation for sample listing straight from label website. - Kno —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kno CunninLynguists (talk • contribs) 21:15, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry if you didn't properly license your samples but a note on the group's website stating that "an official sample listing does not exist" doesn't mean the songs weren't sampled. Don't worry too much about the publishers finding out, everyone knows how notoriously unreliable Wikipedia is as a source of information. Besides, if anyone comes knocking, looking to get paid, you can just tell them it's wrong or that "it's not a sample, it's an incredible simulation". TheJazzDalek (talk) 10:31, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
If you have an issue with it e-mail Joe Daly with the Wikimedia Support Team, a guy who actually gets paid to update this website. Either that or find a reputable citation instead of leaving incorrect information. Thanks. - Kno —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.122.80.218 (talk) 22:30, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
Issue resolved. Contact Joe Daly at Wikimedia Support Team (Quality Items) by using the info-en-q contact e-mail found on this site if you have any issues. Thanks. - Kno —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kno CunninLynguists (talk • contribs) 22:41, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
