  • The current inline citation for the hook fact does not contain the mentioned information about the shooting location. The article could use some further copyediting, and the lead could make a quick mention of the plot and the reception. Requirements otherwise met. CMD (talk) 13:32, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Some of the writing is a little stilted. For example, the plot section doesn't really flow (eg. Greg is presented as a reason to stay with no context, it says the orchard is updated with a computer which doesn't fully make sense, and it doesn't seem to describe what the resolutions to the various conflicts mentioned are), and the sentence "Hancock attempted to release the film in nationwide theaters by calling them many times" doesn't really convey the right message. CMD (talk) 17:01, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Chipmunkdavis: I think I fixed the issues with the plot and that sentence, but I only ever include the entire plot (including the resolutions) if it wouldn't make that section be very long compared to the other sections. I have never had anyone bring up issues with that before. SL93 (talk) 17:22, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The length of a plot summary should be carefully balanced with the length of the other sections, as well as the length of the story itself; simple plots may require only short summaries". from MOS:FICT. SL93 (talk) 17:37, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't have to be long, but a summary should mention the resolution. The current summary says cousin Greg is "next to own" the farm (which I assume means in line to inherit) but there's no mention of what happens to this. It also mentions that Bob wants to appear "the more responsible son", but no other sons are mentioned. The last sentence mentions a curse, which doesn't connect to any other parts of the plot mentioned. The cover mentions the movie is a romantic comedy, but no romance is explained. @Chipmunkdavis: Well, I don't know what to tell you. I can add everything except the ending because I don't remember it and I can't find a source for it. If the ending is required, a bunch of reviewers and nominators on DYK have messed up badly. SL93 (talk) 01:48, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Chipmunkdavis: I just remembered that the farm was given to the main character after his father had a change of heart. If that isn't enough, I honestly don't know what to tell you, but I tried. SL93 (talk) 02:25, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I brought it up because it seems unusual to introduce various elements of the plot as part of the summary if they are not relevant to the plot's conclusion. However, your edits have added a lot of helpful context. If that's all you remember then that'll have to do. The Reception section clearly states there's an overall happy ending, so some context is there.
