Suggestion
[edit]The assertion that the film remains a favorite of conservative Protestants and traditionalist Catholics is a vague generalization which cannot be demonstrated. It implicitly incorporates a value-judgment of the writer into the article, the implication of which is that martyrdom for the sake of religious truth is a value of conservative Christianity. My suggestion is that the sentence be eliminated altogether. Respectfully, --BTG 18:00, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
Budget ??
[edit]The article says $3,900,000 (estimated), but IMDb says $2 millions (estimate). Where do the 3,9 million figure come from?? --Ezzex (talk) 17:40, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Source of the title
[edit]I just read the preface of Erasmus's 1509 book "The Praise of Folly," a preface dedicated to More, where Erasmus calls More "a man of all hours." (I don't know the original Latin; I got the English translation from Project Gutenberg https://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/9371/pg9371-images.html). Isn't it likely that Robert Whittington copied Erasmus's phrase? — Preceding unsigned comment added by AndrewOram (talk • contribs) 20:15, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
