Title

[edit]

The title of the book, as per the Man Booker website (reference 1) in the article, is "A Horse Walks Into a Bar", with the capitalisation as shown - this is why the article was titled that was, and why it is being moved back there. The actual title of the book should override and MoS concerns. Stormy clouds (talk) 18:12, 19 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It is not allowing me to revert this action or to move the page to the correct location - Stormy clouds (talk) 18:16, 19 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The styling of the title of the book is determined by the manual of style, not the style used in sources. That's why we have a manual of style. The article is currently in the correct location. The unfixing of the style should be reverted. -- JHunterJ (talk) 19:31, 19 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The publisher and most reviewers have left it uncapitalized. SarahSV (talk) 06:07, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

[edit]

The infobox needs to decide whether it's discussing the original Hebrew novel or the English translation. Currently it states the language is Hebrew, but all other other parameters relate to the English version published in 2016. --LukeSurl t c 15:04, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Luke, I think it's a bit clearer now. SarahSV (talk) 15:19, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Subjective descriptor in Plot section

[edit]

Neither of the Plot section's cited sources describe the Israeli town of Netanya (pop. over 200K), the locale where the novel's events transpire, as "secluded." In reality, it's on the Mediterranean coast of Northern Central Israel and capital of the populous Sharon plain. For now, I've replaced the subjective descriptor with the more objective "coastal town." -- Deborahjay (talk) 15:22, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As I lack access to or memory of the sources that informed that descriptor's inclusion, I fully consent to its removal. Thanks for the spot and diplomatic treatment, User:Deborahjay. Good work. Stormy clouds (talk) 21:15, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
