Influence on movement of contemporaneous musicians away from acoustic instruments to electric ones?
[edit]Marty Balin's obituary in today's Washington Post credits the movie with influencing musicians to switch to electronic instruments. I'm sure I'm not the one who finds that little slice of music history interesting - people were outright angry bordering on violent when Dylan switched over, iirc. It'd be nice to have any information on this in the article as there's nothing about it now.

This 2008 promotion has some parts lacking citations, may not follow the current MOS in some places, and uses questionable/self-published/unreliable sources. Spinixster (trout me!) 13:50, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
