Good Year for the Roses → A Good Year for the Roses – Most sources attest to "A" being part of the title. The single cover uses "A", Joel Whitburn uses "A" in all of his books, and this news article also uses "A". I think there is sufficient evidence that the "A" is part of the title. - Comment – Nom asked me to comment after I relisted. I'm not seeing a strong case. I'd like to see more evidence, e.g. of which of the cited sources do it each way. The linked single cover page shows images both ways. So I'll remain neutral. Dicklyon (talk) 21:50, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Dicklyon: More evidence: Billboard chart listing uses "A" in the title. Record World Magazine from 1971 (scroll down to page 31). Cash Box magazine from 1971 (scroll to page 26). Excerpt from Jones's autobiography that uses "A" the title. This book also uses "A", as does this one. I think that should be more than enough evidence. - OK, I'll Support. But now I can't close it, so you still have to wait and see what else happens. Dicklyon (talk) 23:10, 12 August 2019 (UTC)

- Support. I like this song. I've only ever seen it as 'A Good Year for the Roses.' Jip Orlando (talk) 14:43, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
- Support Per TenPoundHammer, there appears to be enough evidence to support moving page to correct name. --Caldorwards4 (talk) 18:58, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
