[edit]I threw up a hang-on tag to put the finishing touches on some serious trimming I did. I agree with the original tagger that the initial version was copyvio, but given that it appears to have been done by a foundation insider with the consent of the foundation, and has now been removed, it's not clear to me that a deletion is still required? This foundation does appear notable to me from a quick look at some of the news clips on the site. Newsaholic (talk) 21:52, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

- There's the NYTimes citation; still seems rather newsy and not particularly notable. I thought it was too close for a speedy. Lazulilasher (talk) 01:59, 14 October 2008 (UTC), edited to say "not" Lazulilasher (talk) 02:12, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- I'm a new intern at A Glimmer of Hope's offices in Austin; I've made substantial updates to the page and tried to include as many sources as possible. Granted, I need to go back and formally cite a number of the news articles, I plan to get to that within the coming weeks. I've also updated information on Mr. Berber, and I've corrected links to our Wikipedia page on both the H2O Africa page and the Abebe Bikila pageSpoon06 (talk) 20:47, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
The organization seems "notably." I just added 2 citations to the article. The organization's founders was just ranked #7 in the world in the top 25 effective global givers because of the organization's work. And the NYT style magazine just featured A Glimmer of Hope Dec. 2010. Cleighholder (talk) 17:00, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
