And I will take a look at this one too. good888 (talk) 10:02, 20 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Review is now complete. good888 (talk) 19:27, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lead section

  • Link chauffeur and beggar.
  • "According to a trade review, the actual kidnapping scene and where Jim overpowers the villains chauffeur are not actually depicted." Was the trade review by The New York Dramatic Mirror by any chance? And isn't it "is not actually depicted"?
  • "The film s presumed lost." Is presumed lost.

Cast

  • I noticed in the production section that Q. David Bowers stated that Marie Eline was in the film. You might as well create a new section and state what Eline's role in the film was. And any other people that were confirmed to be in the film.

Production

  • "The film director is unknown, but it may have been Barry O'Neil." State that Barry O'Neil as the stage name of Thomas J. McCarthy and that he would direct Thanhouser Pictures' first two-reeler, Romeo and Juliet.
  • Link The New York Dramatic Mirror.

Release and reception

  • Unlink The New York Dramatic Mirror.

References

  • None of the refs are broken for me.
  • Link the publishers of these sources if possible.

Going to place on hold for now. Also can you respond to the reviews on A 29-Cent Robbery and The Mad Hermit? Thanks. good888 (talk) 19:27, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Good888: - All caught up on the reviews now and I did the fixes. Also, only Marie Eline's role is actually known and I didn't want to create a cast section for "Marie Eline as Marie". Seems to be a waste to even do two credits, but I really must draw the line at one credit. Also, I have wanted to get away from that Barry O'Neil stage name statement and about the Romeo and Juliet one for awhile - while true, it was farther away and Thanhouser had other directors joining by winter 1910. As we approach winter 1910, you will see that the better information becomes available and the details improve. It won't be till 1912 that the cast issues are really resolved, but the appreciation of actors and the star system do lead to identification in almost all instances as time goes on. Well... save for a few cases which I won't spoil. Thanks for reviewing. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 07:18, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, OK on the cast and Barry O'Neil issues. With that and all the other issues addressed, I am promoting to GA class. good888 (talk) 09:20, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
