Amazon Web Services the primary AWS acronym?

[edit]

I moved Amazon Web Services into the Technology category, but my edit was reverted: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=AWS_(disambiguation)&oldid=prev&diff=1033406850 Do other editors feel that Amazon Web Services is the 'primary' use of the AWS acronym? I personally think not. It looks more like advertising. Ghostofnemo (talk) 05:56, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

First, to clarify, it would require a page move proposal if we wanted to make Amazon Web Services no longer the primary meaning. But anyway, I'm nearly 100% certain that this was already decided in at least one move discussion, although for some reason I cannot find the evidence of such a discussion. I'll keep looking when I have time. -- Fyrael (talk) 04:25, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I think maybe something got lost during a move? At any rate, page views would suggest the service is primary by usage, as it gets more than the rest combined. -- Fyrael (talk) 04:54, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
