Sourcing
[edit]I used the preexisting content and updated it mostly from memory. PMID 12438822 is the most suitable source I could find, but I cannot access the fulltext and will not fork out the $ 32 needed to buy the rights. The library... one day... JFW | T@lk 22:56, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- This article is still in desperate need of good sources. Editors might find PMID 16627405 doi:10.1093/europace/euj010 useful too. It's free full text. LeadSongDog come howl! 16:23, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Pathophys
[edit]Some talk about P waves buried in QRS might be helpful in understanding exactly what's going on in the reentrant circle. 170.140.20.94 (talk) 19:01, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Wrong wave?
[edit]Looking at the EKG image, it looks like a diminished T wave, not a P wave (which looks partially interrupted by QRS). Maybe I'm reading it wrong; can someone clarify? Thanks. Eddievhfan1984 (talk) 09:47, 15 July 2013 (UTC)
Evolutionary function of the slow pathway?
[edit]Does anyone know why we have a slow pathway? It seems to cause more problems than it's worth; is there some benefit to having one? Myoglobin (talk) 15:24, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Myoglobin Wow, looking like this is a very old question from you, do you still have this question. The slow pathway is usually from genetic mutation, but it needs more sources. An essay indicated that on [1]. -Lemonaka 16:59, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- I nearly forgot about this but thank you for following-up! Myoglobin (talk) 23:32, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
