Is the quotation at the start of this article appropriate? Is its use within copyright? I would suggest a re-write that removes the quote and summarizes its contents. 99.233.74.73 (talk) 22:48, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Is there a reason that "battleshort" is written in CamelCase? That's not standard usage in any military writing that I'm familiar with. I'll give it a while for somebody to post a reason that it's like that, and I'll change it if I don't hear back.CatCube (talk) 05:35, 25 September 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by CatCube (talk • contribs)
Erroneous headline
[edit]I removed the headline:
The guidance computer used for the Atlas (SM-65) was a Burroughs "J".
Burroughs Guidance Computer MOD I J-4 is on display at the Cape see: http://afspacemuseum.org/displays/BurroughsComputer/
For a detailed Historical Summary see: http://afspacemuseum.org/displays/BurroughsComputer/Burroughs_Historical_Summary.pdf
The Burroughs Guidance Computer lasted longer than the Athena. One was in use at Vandenberg AFB in 1978
